Err, I was going to write about Laycon of Big Brother Naija season 5 (Lockdown season) today before but before it becomes stale, let me ask followers of Bola Ahmed Tinubu why their team released the ill-advised video of their Cristiano Ronaldo on a fitness bike for the world to shey yeye him?

Is it ment? What is the need to mislead the general public on a video that you don’t need forensic tests to know it’s almost as old as their candidate? Was that done to show Nigerians their candidate is fit? Why not look for something else to sell? He is not fit, forget that feature, can you come up with something else?

Who do us like this sef? Just yesterday, I was complaining about the rate at which many of our top brains are leaving the shores of Nigeria and we can’t do jack about it; isn’t it obvious that we can’t get a solution at the next election? Which of the three can actually deliver solutions if we’re being honest?

I don’t intend to make this long, I am even irritated and this only goes to show that our people have buried their brains at the altar of daily bread. You look at us like this and you believe that video will chop us? Have you forgotten that you have used it before? Try dey rate us na!

Anyways, today is Damola’s birthday. My brother’s wife is celebrating and she will be happy as her husband has now joined her in no man’s land, I wish you all of God’s blessings today and I hope your dreams come through on that side of the world… Godspeed sis!
