One day in no man's land...

Today is one of those days I won’t be dropping too much because I have a loaded day and I only have about five minutes to write something… it is what it is and I hope you won’t be angry with me.

The Premier League starts today and one of our brand partners, Betking is hosting KingMakers’ premiership hangout at Wave Beach Elegushi. Hit me up if you want to come through, it starts from 6pm through the night. I hope Arsenal wins.

Justin set Deepsea and I up for a podcast which we recorded at the office. It was a fun session even though Deepsea was saying nonsense half the time with his obsession for his finished Chelsea team and Innocent was the man behind the camera, you’d like it.

Oh, we had a session earlier where Justin came through with solid presentation; couldn’t have full complement of the team with Basirat and Jason out on health grounds but the other musketeers were on ground to deliver their takes.

I’m off to Elegushi to deliver an event with the team. Afterwards, deep into the night in no man’s land, I’d be attending a shedibalabala event to round off the week. I promise not to drink too much or do something that won’t make me rapturable.

Finally, I miss Sandra. The chaotic ghen-ghen pressing that keeps everyone in check, the run down on targets and expectations, the energy no one else can bring and of course the Tiger she drops on my table every morning… Please #BringBackSandra.

17th May, 2023 - My darkest hours

One year after her passing, nothing has changed, I still feel pains and, I still have a lot of unanswered questions but, Valar Morghulis - All men must die. (Photo credit: Ramsey's iPhone) Yea, it's been one year already, and nothing has changed. I still feel as much pain as I did exactly one year ago, when the darkest of clouds usurped me. When the earth received my mother's body, it still hurts. I’ve tried many times to do this, but it is what it is. What a year it has been. There was no inkling before it happened, so there is no benchmark. However, it’s a different kind of pain, one I don’t wish on anyone.
