It's Rambo season...

I got all the love in the world yesterday, even from people I didn’t expect anything from. I always knew birthdays can be flattering but I don’t take any of the warm gestures for granted and here’s me saying a heartfelt thank you to all of you.

Precious Ginika Okeke delivered a cake to my office today and I don’t know how to feel; I know our friendship has been a weird one as I always thought the only reason we still talk is cos you always need my help on experiential ideas but trust me Precious, I love you and will always rate you.

Yo, I’m not about to start naming names, I will always appreciate everyone that reached out one way or the other; the best of friends are the ones that don’t need Facebook reminders or WhatsApp statuses to remember you and again, I’m grateful for the overwhelming love.

And to those that left it late, those that needed my appreciation posts earlier today to remember, no hard feelings and I won’t be seeking vengeance when it comes to your turn; I’m too elated to be vengeful and again, I understand birthdays could be traps.

Today has been fun and crazy at Riquesa; it didn’t take long before we had a soldier down with Seye having to act his business lead role in helping a comrade out of the building LOL but then, can we begin to respect out individual limits? You know you have alcohol threshold; can you respect it and don’t go over your limit?

I talked about my plans to choose me in the new year, to live to the fullest and also make sure that I’m present everywhere enjoyment is; the weekend will round off the birthday celebrations, first with BetKing’s Premiership hangout at Wave Beach and then a pyjamas party afterwards.

17th May, 2023 - My darkest hours

One year after her passing, nothing has changed, I still feel pains and, I still have a lot of unanswered questions but, Valar Morghulis - All men must die. (Photo credit: Ramsey's iPhone) Yea, it's been one year already, and nothing has changed. I still feel as much pain as I did exactly one year ago, when the darkest of clouds usurped me. When the earth received my mother's body, it still hurts. I’ve tried many times to do this, but it is what it is. What a year it has been. There was no inkling before it happened, so there is no benchmark. However, it’s a different kind of pain, one I don’t wish on anyone. The 17th of May 2023 will forever remain where it is; hopefully, it remains the darkest ever until my dying day. The mood was obvious; Deepsea could tell in the car.
