What is peaceful about a religion that supports murder for blasphemy?

It is not the first time that people have been killed by northern religious fanatics all in the name of blasphemy and, you wonder why humans need to fight for God. It is disheartening and disturbing but you know what is worse? No one will pay for it.

Atiku Abubakar jumped on the issue and rightly condemned the indiscretions of the bastards that committed the murder, he was threatened with his political ambition (something he won’t achieve anyway) and he quickly deleted the tweet, that was a suicide move.

I wrote about him and a few others recently, I was never going to vote for him and now I have more reasons never to choose a coward, a man who had the chance to put something right, he caved in to such religious dungeon, he should never rise again.

While Atiku Abubakar is just one man, what are the rest of the Northern Oligarchy doing about such barbaric act? Are we now governed by religion and not the actual constitutional law? Is blasphemy against a prophet worthy of such penalty?

I am waiting to see what MURIC, the Islamic body that usually rant like headless chickens will do, I am convinced that they’re as useless as their Christian counterparts but this is their opportunity to prove me wrong, or did they sanction the murder?

What is the government of Sokoto doing about it? I checked the news before I decided to write about this, I know how the social media space works, once the AMVCA red carpet starts this evening and pictures start to fly around, no one will talk about the Sokoto madness anymore…

Let me even ask, how convenient is it for these Northern idiots to target other religions and ignore their oppressors right under their smelly noses? I grew up hearing the famous phrase “Islam is a religion of peace” but is there anything peaceful about acts like this?

The Islamic body owes us this one, they should not only condemn it in the dailies, they must call out the perpetrators and each of them must be punished, if your religion makes you hate another human to the extent of killing, then you need another religion.

There’s a reason the Northern part of Nigeria remains the most under-developed, their leaders continue to hound them with religious carrots and they can’t get out of the bondage, I am gutted beyond words and I just hope the young girl’s family find the strength to deal with such pain.
